Communications service fires 4 employees after income checks
MOSCOW, Feb 16 (PRIME) -- The Russian communications service has fired four employees for breaching the requirements on disclosure of public staff incomes, revealed by the Prosecutor’s General Office, the service said late Wednesday in a statement.
The Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, Information Technology, and Mass Media immediately organized a check upon receipt of a warrant from prosecutors, who had found out that some of the service’s officials hid information on incomes they or their spouses received in 2015.
The violations were committed due to the lack of control by the people in charge. The service dismissed two officials and two employees of the human resources departments.
